Our community, TheBeeYard is participating in Extra Life 2025. From right NOW until November 8th at 11:59pm EST, we will be collecting donations for charity. Our donations will go to CHOP, Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. 

Our team goal is currently set for $1000.

My personal goal is also $500.

There are certain incentives you can collect on that page by donating certain amounts. Now if we some how manage to surpass the $500 goal for the team...by like doubling it or more..I will HAVE to have a special something for you all on stream after the event.

Good morning and Happy Halloween to those who partake!

I made a slight adjustment to the follower incentives. Instead of going by increments of 100, I have lowered it to increments of 50.
900 - Community Gamenight
950 - Game Giveaway
1000 - Chat Picks Game to Stream
1050 - Chat picks what game i giveaway next
1100 - Discord Movie/Show night
1150 - Merch Giveaway
1200 - Community Game Night
1250 - Game Giveaway
At the time of writing this, we are 1....ONE follower away from hitting our first incentive at 900. All info on dates and times will be listed on discord and the events calendar. Be sure to check them out.

We will keep the subscriber incentives at increments of 10 for the fact that people can gift subs and that counts towards the incentives. 

Donation incentives were removed prior as stated in a previous post. I have desided that they will not return in a normal fashion. Donation incentives will only be around for special streams such as a birthday stream or hitting a big mile stone to be able to reward you all more.

BITS! We started a bit goal on twitch of 5000. If you don't know what bits are, 1 bit equals 1 penny. Once we hit that goal, we will have yet another giveaway.

Now we do have a giveaway ending on X tonight. Once this giveaway ends, we will be focusing on meeting the goals and completing incentives. We will still have some giveaways on X and Discord, so no worries there, HOWEVER we will have MORE on the stream doing it live.

I know a concern for some of you is that due to me streaming late in your timezone, some as late as 4am someone told me, you will miss out on giveaways. While you may miss out on a few, I promise that you will not miss out on ALL. I will come up with something when the time comes.

Good morning everyone!

Yes, yes, I'm starting early with my shenanigans. Before I get too into this, I want to just congratulate LordRoonyx on reaching affiliate on twitch. We recently merged our community into one, so I know some of you are to thank for this, so THANK YOU.

I reworked some things in the discord server to provide a more seemless experience for both communities. Assuming I set it up correctly any subs from either one of our twitch channels should automatically get the 'supporters' role. 

As far as my twitch (xbeekeeper) I reworked the incentives a bit. I updated the followers incentives, removed the donation incentives for the time being and added sub incentives. 
The current sub incentives are as follows:

10 - Sub Only Game Night
20 - Discord Movie/Show Night
30 - Game Giveaway
40 - Merch Giveaway
50 - Game Giveaway
60 - Sub Only Game Night
70 - Discord Movie/Show Night
80 - Merch Giveaway
90 - Game Giveaway
100 - BeanBoozled Stream

IF we ever make it past 100, I do believe we would be able to have a "mega-giveaway" being a console of sorts like a Switch 2 or something. These subs will go by the twitch sub goal counter on my twitch page.

At a later date I will bring back donation incentives and looking into adding our membership count from this site into our counters for twitch. Such as free members here would count towards the follower incentive goal of twitch, and paid members here would count towards the sub incentives on twitch. I'm hoping to be able to do this in a less confusing way for everyone...lol. So for now, all incentives are through twitch.

We do have a giveaway currently happening on X/Twitter as of 10/30/25. It is my pinned post on there. That will be ending this weekend sometime.

How we do our giveaways and the future:

Currently, we take every submission and enter it into a program and the bot chooses someone at random. We then DM the winner and if they want to stay anonymous they can, or we shout them out with a plug if they have one.

The future: We will still enter all into a program and pick a winner that way. Instead of DMing them privately, we will post an image of their handle.

All winners have 24 hours to claim their prize. I do this because I know I stream and end giveaways late est time. People have jobs or are in different timezones.

They can watch the vods or check socials to see if they won in a timely manner on whatever platform the giveaway was hosted.

Perhaps ill look into making a page on here as well to combine all the winners so theres 1 place to check.

Alright so I missed the September update. NO WORRIES!

It's October now...Halloween coming up, but Battlefield 6 just recently dropped and we're having some giveaways baby.

Hellooooo friends!

I've been on a bit of a hiatus over the last few weeks busy with irl stuff and simply lack of motivation. However I am baaaaack.

To start things off we updated the fundraisers page and changed the name to 'Events'. There has been a calendar added to keep up to date on streams, funraisers, giveaway dates, merch drops etc. Anything we have planned will be posted there so you have more of an idea of whats going on.

Hello everyone!

Things have been fairly quiet knock on wood. We have had sales on various things (merch, memberships etc) a lot thus far this summer.

We have made a clan in Diablo 4. So if you would like to join, we ask that you be active in game as well as in our discord server. To join the clan, simply boot the game up and search for TheBeeYard and request to join. From there you can join the discord and either myself or a mod will accept your request and get the invite sent out asap. 

We hope to help our clanmates and the community out through our discord and even on the site here with our members.

Hello and welcome to the Star Wars month update!

No, unfortunately I am not collabing with Star Wars..yet. (Totally willing if anyone in charge over there happens to see this.)

So the patch notes in the discord server have been fairly active lately. 

Discord Server

The server has been cleaned up ALOT. Looks much cleaner imo. Soo what else is happening this month?

The server overall has kind of always been all over the place as far as purpose. It was too much. SO, the server is focused on well, me and my community accross the board. My streams, this site, my clans and game servers. I tried having it focus on other people as a more broad gaming community, but now its just us. 

With that, the shoutout bot is getting a downgrade and it will now only be shouting out official accounts such as Halo, or Bungie...accounts for game updates and esports. The streamers will still have the self promo channel to post their stream links and youtube/tiktok channels to if they so desire whenever they please.

I have a new bot that will now...or should now..send a notification to discord when I go live instead of using the shoutout bot. This new bot will also allow me to do things like automatically post clips or send invite messages for games. I may even be able to host little games on there as well.

Not a whole lot is happening at the moment. We've had a few new products that launched already but we will have a new Summer line coming soon. It is soon beach season afterall.

Game Servers

Rust: We had upgraded the cpu prior to the jungle update and the server is running wayyyy smoother. Not too much is happening over there. We have people joining and a few returning here and there. 

Would anyone be interested in a minecraft server? Leave a comment below if you'd be interested. Just basic vanilla fun, nothing crazy. 

Streams

Where to begin. We made a move..I'm not sure if it's an entirely great move yet, but we did it. It's kind of moving in 2 parts. I'm trying out a new streaming service and now also a new bot platform. There's a few more things I need to add on the bot side of things, but the stream side is good to go I believe. 

• Fixed alerts...I think.
• Added horizontal chat
  -- should include twitch and youtube chats.

• New Commands
  -- full command list will be posted later.

• Added Activity bar
  -- A bar that fills up based on follows, subs, tips etc.
• New twitch point redemptions
  -- Still need to transfer old redemptions over to new system.
  -- Added a 'daily' check in redemption which also has a leaderboard command to see who has checked in the most.
  -- More sound redemptions coming

Once we get settled in with the new software and bot, we shall have another giveaway of some kind as well. Keep your eyes open!

Hello everyone!!

As doors open and close and chapters begin and end, today we part ways with the lovely streamer Sunshine. There is no ill will between us or our communities. Sometimes in order to grow, you need to let go. 

Our community name for discord and streams is changing from The Garden & Hive to..drum roll..TheBeeYard. 

During the transition I'll be updating the 'patch notes' channel on discord as I update things around the server. 

I am also going with a new color theme, and that will be slowly changing over to the new one over the next few days.

I'm really excited where this next chapter in our story, life, community takes us. From partners/affiliates to fundraisers...this year is going to be BIG.
